Welcome to the Miami Council for International Visitors (MCIV). For 50 years, we have been introducing the World to South Florida one handshake at a time.
As the official South Florida host for the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) MCIV welcomes hundreds of distinguished visitors every year to South Florida. We design and arrange their professional itineraries ensuring that they meet with their U.S. counterparts in order to share best practices, new developments, and establish long-term contacts that can benefit both them and our community.
We are a member-driven organization that depends on our vast-network of local, national, and international contacts to ensure these high-level international visitors have the best possible experience here in South Florida.
At MCIV we attract alliances, build bridges and connect cultures, all through citizen diplomacy. We believe a warm handshake marks the beginning of a life-long friendship.
